As part of our ongoing water main laying works in the Mundham area, our teams are preparing to carry out our final connections at Lagness Road to get the water main up and running to complete the works. This will require the road closure of Brookside at the junction of Lagness Road from Monday 18th to Friday 29th November 2024. We have carefully planned these connection works to cause the least impact on Lagness Road. This means there should be no impact on traffic flows, and no traffic management will be in place for Lagness Road. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this work may cause to local residents and those passing through the area. Some of our customers in the Denmead/Waterlooville North area may be experiencing a cloudy or milky appearance to their water. The cause for this is the presence of air in the form of very minute bubbles giving the water a milky appearance. This normally happens when air has been introduced into the water supply, most likely due to a temporary change within the network. We would like to reassure our customers that while unsightly, this is completely harmless, and if the water is left standing it will clear after a short time. We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and thank you for your patience whilst we work hard to remove the air.
