Surveys for the new reservoir pipeline: request to move vehicles 1 – 2 September

We’ve been busy carrying out surveys along the route of the proposed pipeline to find out more about what’s underground. The team from GEOTECH are using specialist equipment and lifting manholes to look for pipes and cables.

We also need to find out what’s under the road and to do this we’ll be using van-mounted radar equipment and lifting manholes within the carriageway. The van will need to make several journeys along each section of road to complete the survey, and to prevent any delays, we request that vehicles are moved from the areas and adjacent parking spaces listed below on 1 and 2 September, between 9am and 5pm; access to driveways will be maintained at all times. Vehicles can be parked on these roads overnight, but we ask that they are moved by 9am each morning.
